Sweet Stampin ~ Favourite Colour

Hey crafty friends, it's time for a new challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog and this time we'd love you to create with your favourite colour. If you've been following my blog a while, you'll know my favourite colour is green. I adore most greens. There's just something about the beautiful colour that fills my soul. So of course, my make today features green. I've kept it simple so the colour can feature.

A while back, one of my crafty friends sent me a letter and in it, some beautiful panels she'd watercoloured. This panel was one of them. So this is a collaboration with my lovely crafty friend Sue Hastead. I diecut the panel with a gorgeous Whimsy Stamps frame die and stamped an image from a lovely Unity Stamps set and a sentiment from Penny Black. I can't share the name of the Unity Stamps image, as this came as part of a grab bag of loose rubber stamps and the image has since been discontinued. But it's definitely a Unity Stamps image. I've kept the card design very simple. Just the beautiful watercolouring done by Sue and my simple silhouette stamping over it. I've used VersaFine Onyx Black Ink to stamp the sentiment and image and really that's pretty much it for the process of today's creation. I love a clean and simple silhouette card for Sympathy cards. Perfect for thinking of you cards too if a friend is going through tough stuff.

I hope you can come and join our 'Favourite Colour' challenge. We'd love to see what you're inspired to create and to see the blog filled with colour! I'll be back soon with another crafty adventure, until then, I wish you a happy and creative week. Hugs, Wends xoxo

(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
