Sweet Stampin' ~ Cards For Children

Hey crafty friends, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this time our challenge theme focuses on the little people in our lives. We'd love to see your 'Cards For Children' for this challenge. I have a card I made for one of my nieces when she was having a Harry Potter birthday party. I bought a die of the Hogwarts Crest some time ago. I thought it was such a cool die and would be perfect for the Harry Potter lovin' little people in my life. It was a favourite series when my kiddos were small. 

I bought the fabulous Hogwarts Crest from English Craft Store ~ Craft Stash, they seem to have closed for trading in the UK or possibly rebranded, I used to buy a lot of things from them, so I've been sad to see them go.

This fabulous plaid paper is from Echo Park, it's part of their Witches and Wizards No. 2 Collection. I bought this as a stand alone 12 x 12 Double Sided Page with 4 x 6 Journaling Cards on the reverse side. I used the plaid as the background for my Hogwarts Crest Diecut and then used one of the journal cards to line the inside top panel of the card. I just thought it was lovely sentiment.

I used the journal card for the top panel inside the card and added a white page for the bottom panel to write my birthday message to my niece. I used a lovely sentiment stamp from Whimsy Stamps to add a magical sentiment on this panel. The sentiment set I used is called Shine Bright and has some lovely magical themed sentiments in it. Quite a classic set really and was perfect for this magical make. 

I gave my niece some colouring pages themed for her party. These are from Madame Manon and were in her Etsy Shop for a time. They're sadly retired now. My niece enjoyed these.
