Fab 'n' Funky - Kenny K

Hey there my lovely blogging buddies. I've just come in from the school run on a super wet Tuesday to write up my blogpost. Had to have a quick change as even my pants got wet! Not my most fun way to start the day. But this however is. So let's get to it. We are kicking off a new challenge on the Fab 'n' Funky challenge and Zora is our lovely host today and has chosen a really fun theme. She'd like to see some doodling on your cards or a handwritten sentiment (if like me you're really pants at doodling!).

We are spoilt to have Kenny K sponsoring us for this challenge and the team were given some fabulous stamps to work with. I've had my eye on one stamp in particular for a while. So I was stoked to be able to use it this challenge. It's called Total Drama and I really wanted to find a sassy, witty sentiment to line it up with. But, nothing quite fit that I had in mind, so I went for the cliche birthday number tease. But I think it works. 

Now I do think that sentiment is cute and funny, on it's own, but I just had to take it a step further, so the inside of the card has an extra cheeky surprise...

I don't have lovely handwriting and as this is for my Swedish pals birthday I didn't want to mess up, so I cheated slightly on my 'handwritten sentiment' by first printing it out in a handwritten font and then running over it with green ink. Kinda looks handwritten, whatcha think? I've doodled some stitching on two of the corners of the image and I've doodled both of the backing papers. I did use green ink, rather than black, as I'm not a confident doodler, so I figured this way, it wouldn't be overly obvious if I messed it up!

I wanted the image to take centre stage, so I've kept the card very simple, with just some gorgeous moss green pearls to finish in the corners. I do love my pearls! Which, I've just realised I've left uncoloured on the image, so I'll be pulling out my liquid pearls to rectify that before sending to Sweden!!
