Hey there my lovely blog pals. I have two cards to share with you today for our new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky. I know we're all still recovering from the Christmas crafting rush, but we at Fab 'n' Funky are keen to reduce the load for next Christmas, by spreading it across the year. So as we did last year, we are going to have a monthly Christmas challenge and here is our first challenge to kick things off for next Christmas.
I have made two cards using two of the images from a Penny Black stamp set called 'The Wonder'. I think these images are so sweet and I love the little hedgies in particular. I've used papers from the same paper pad for my designs and kept the design pretty CAS, to let the sweet images shine.
For my first card, I used a Go Create frame to create the image frame and mat. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then stamped the greeting straight onto the paper. I did it twice, just to try something different. I inked the shadow under the sledge and hedgie, then sprinkled some glitter over to suggest glittery snow.

For my second card, I used a different set of Go Create dies to make the image frame and mat and distressed the edges of the base paper. I chose to use a sentiment stamped on white this time and used central placement for this design, finishing it with a strip of glitter all around to frame it.

We're being sponsored by Craft Classes Online for this challenge, so our winner is in for a wonderful prize. I hope you'll come and join us for our first Christmas challenge of the year and start early on your Christmas card pile. We'd love to see what you'll make.
Thanks for popping in today. I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure. Until then, have an awesome week. Big hugs, Wends x
Update: Forgot to say... my lovely papers were of course Papermania from their 'Home For Christmas' collection x
