Whimsy Stamps ~ June New Digital Release ~ Day 1

Hello lovelies, it's Day 1 of our new Digital Designs Release at Whimsy Stamps and I've been creating a super cute lil' card to share with you today using the paper from the last release and the lovely sentiment set also from our previous release. I really love that sentiment set from the last release, as it's just so versatile! It works perfectly with the Whimsy Stamps Bold Banners die set. That wee die set has been getting lots of use lately with this sentiment set! It's currently in the 'Retiring Clearance' section of the store, so snap it up if you want one, they'll be gone soon! How do I know this? Because when I started colouring up this cutie patootie wee Zebra, he was in that retiring clearance and by the time I'd finished colouring him, he was gone! So get them while you can. Good news with this darling wee Zebra, is that he's now available as a digi stamp! So you can still grab this gorgeous Spring Zebra in our Digital Designs division.

I've used Copic Markers to colour up this sweet Zebra from the pen of our super talented Whimsy Stamps designer Crissy Armstrong. So exciting that this retired rubber stamp has now made it over to our Digital Image Store, as he's just too cute to disappear completely! I've coloured this whole scene with my copics, and was so pleased with the ombré sky. All it needed was a few clouds, so I've added some sweet ones from the Whimsy Stamps Stitched Cloud Die set. Love those scrolly clouds, so sweet!

It was my Zac's birthday a few days ago and when your name starts with 'Z', you know it's a given you're going to love Zebras, and he does! So when I spotted this cutie in the retiring section of the store, I snapped him up quickly, with my small boy in mind.

I've used one of the lovely papers from our previous digital release for this creation. That stripy blue and green paper, was so perfect for this creation and I found a ribbon in my stash which picked up these blue and green stripes, so knew I wanted to use that in the creation. I added some green gingham behind the ribbon, so that it didn't disappear into the other stripes too much! A fun but simple finish. I used a pretty die from my stash to cut the blue 'cloudy' paper to mat the image and then mounted this layer on foam, so it sits up from the main stripy paper for a bit of dimension and interest. A sweet simple card which I think would make any small boy happy.
