A Whimsy Christmas ~ Watching For Santa
Hey there lovelies. As ever, I'm the last minute lass, I made so many lovely Christmas creations this past couple of months and I've struggled to find time to share them all! I still have a couple tucked away. So before it's no longer 2018, I thought I'd share my final Christmas creation for this year.
I love this sweet image designed by the talented Crissy Armstrong so much, I didn't want to swamp the image with lots of bling, so kept to my favourite diecut snowflake and a diecut 25 to finish this design. Both were glittered with loose glitter and I added some sparkly gems to the opposing corners for that final touch. I popped the image up on foam for a bit of dimension and added a tiny bit of paper lace behind for interest. An otherwise very CAS design.
This utterly enchanting image so aptly called 'Watching For Santa', was one of the last I coloured up for Christmas and I so wish I'd had time to make a couple more with this image. It's SO lovely. I used my Copic Markers to colour her and added a soft grey background for a bit of depth. A simple stitched diecut frame finished the image panel nicely.
Did you catch up with the fabulous retiring sale that's happening over at Whimsy Stamps? Everything in the retiring sale is 50% off if you use the coupon code WhimsyRetire50. Both the numbers die I've used in this creation and also the snowflake die are in this sale. The reduction will come off already discounted prices too! But only until the end of 2018. So don't miss out. I hope you had fun over Christmas. Did you make your Christmas cards? I ran out of time to post them all, so only sent a select few. But I think I'll have to make New Year cards now! Not many hours of 2018 left, so I wish you all a wonderful rest of the year and I'll catch you in 2019! Hugs xoxo
