Fab 'n' Funky ~ Boxes, Bags & Tags

Hey there lovelies. I'm here with my Fab 'n' Funky DT creation today. I'm hosting the challenge this week and I've chosen the theme 'Boxes, Bags & Tags'. So any creations which fall into these categories are welcome.

I made gift bags for the guests at one of Georgie's birthday parties, which I filled with lots of fun and pampering treats. There was coloured nail polish, exfoliating mits, face masks, clips, candy and a brightly coloured hair spray each for a bit of quirky girlie fun. I used bags I had in my stash, so they were a bit of an eclectic mix of bags, but still worked quite well once they were all decorated. I used strips of designer paper to create the base of the design.

I used an alphabet stamp set hubby gave me to add the girls names to each bag. I dressed the bags with a pretty cotton lace, a doily and feathers, then added a little tag to each bag tied with a pretty cream baker's twine that was twisted with gold thread. The message on the guests bags said 'Thank You'. For Georgie's bag, I used a postage mark stamp.

Here are some of the girls putting on the coloured hair spray. They were in fits of giggles by the time they'd finished! It was just a wash out spray, but I gave them each a different colour, so there was loads of giggles and fun in the experimenting.

I do hope you'll come and join us this week and show us the creations you've made that are boxes, bags or tags. It's nice to have something other than a card to craft once in a while and I look forward to seeing what you're all inspired to do. I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure, in the meantime, have a wonderful week. Hugs, Wends xoxo

What a fabulous idea for the gift bags. Perfect for young ladies.
Oh what a fun time those girls must have had, and beautiful bags - I think I recognise the paper, as I have some that looks as though it is the same :-) Love the way you have made them so festive with the doilies, feathers and lace
