Sweet Stampin' ~ Birthday Boys
Hey there lovely crafty pals. I'm here tonight with an extra post for Sweet Stampin'. It's not my week to post, but I just love the theme this week and it has just been my small boys 9th birthday, so I couldn't resist playing along with his birthday card.
I've used a fun paper from a boys set which had lots of techy designs in it. None of those worked quite as well as this barcode paper however, so this was the one I chose. I think the colours just work so well on this card.
The stamping was done using a fabulous Alien Invaders Video Game from a Hunky Dory set from their 'For The Love of Stamps' range. I knew when I saw this set, that I would want to create for my techy boys with it. Zac is such a keen gamer, so I knew he would think this card was fun. Straight away he spotted that the 'High Score' might have something to do with his age, and he was right! I worked out how many days old he was and used that as the high score number. He loved that little element of it especially.
Come and join our fun 'For The Boys' challenge this week, we'd love to see what you're inspired to do for your masculine makes. Just remember to use some stamping. I'll be back soon with another crafty adventure, in the meantime head on over to Sweet Stampin' to see what my talented teamies got up to for their masculine makes. You're sure to leave inspired! Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
