Sweet Stampin' ~ Use A Button

Hey there crafty pals. My pal Susan is away overseas at the moment enjoying some Summer Sun, so I'm playing along with the Team Susan Sweeties this week for our 'Use A Button' themed challenge. This worked out well, as I had made this creation for another challenge with the wrong sponsor image, funny how fate works sometimes. So I had this cutie spare and with the button on that black flower, worked a treat for this theme. The challenge I made it for had a 'stripes' theme, hence the paper. But I really love how this came together and it's nice to be able to play along with the Team Susan Sweeties this week.

The image is from the lovely All Dressed Up image range. I love the art style of these images. So fabulous and this Prom Princess is a really lovely 'Audrey Hepburn' like image, which so appealed to me for this card. I've kept the colouring very simple as there was so much colour in the paper. I went for a very simple card design with just a thin ribbon and bow and some fabric flowers and heart pins to finish. The lovely flower with the button centre was from Flourish with a Bling, which has sadly now closed. The Stitched Scalloped Oval Die is from Kaisercraft.
