Whimsy Wednesday ~ What's New Pussycat?

Hey there crafty pals. I'm here with my Whimsy Wednesday post on time this week! Shock, gasp! I'm finally finding my feet a little bit at work and not feeling quite so wiped out. So I've actually managed to pull together a sweet creation with the cutest Whimsy Stamps image. These sweet tigers from Deb Davis, were sold as part of a Paper Door kit and I live in hope they'll be released as a clear stamp set, because they are just the cutest! My sister recently broke her leg skiing, so I needed a get well card to lift her spirits and this was just the ticket. She's a real fashionista and I knew she'd love this pink leopard print paper. So I paired it with this sweet forlorn looking tiger to wish her well soon. (Her injury is major, totally breaks my heart!)

The lovely paper atop the leopard skin is from the Whimsy Stamps set Pretty Pastels and toned perfectly with the leopard skin paper. (You may recall me using this paper before here.) I used a doily to create a bit of interest in the centre and then layered a diecut shape from the Card Builder Windows die set.

I've used my favourite card shaping die set again too. I just love the Notched Squares die set. It may just be my most used die this year! It really dresses up an otherwise plain square card, so nicely! The Feel Better sentiment is from a brilliant stamp set with lots of fab' greeting options called Everyday Scripted Sentiments. I used a wrap of pink baker's twine to tie it all together and scattered a few sequins for bling.

I hope you're enjoying seeing the amazing creations by the Diva's rolling out in the Facebook Group. Be sure to stop by and check them out occasionally. Those girls have mad talent! I can't keep up with them, hehe. Our release this month is utterly gorgeous and the team have truly created some absolute magic with the images. I'll be back again very soon with another Whimsy adventure. But in the meantime, do head over to the Facebook Group to check out the fun and you can click through on the banner above to the store. If you want to find the specific items I used for this creation, you can click through on the thumbnails below. Hugs and happy crafting xoxo

OUCH! Your poor sister! Hope she's healing well Wends and I'm sure this lovely card will make her smile. The sad little tiger is so cute and the design is beautiful.
Glad you're finding your feet at work, probably being ill yourself and then having a sick little lad to look after didn't help matters. Hopefully it'll be a lot easier now.
