Whimsy Stamps ~ Turtley Awesome Christmas Wishes

Hey crafty pals, this month is swimming past me too fast. We've helped my beautiful mummy move into her gorgeous brand new apartment this week and it's been full on! But I've a couple of creations I've managed to create in some quieter moments. This lil' cutie has been sitting on my desk for a few days waiting patiently to be photographed. I'm heading into panic Christmas creating mode! So I've kept the design very simple. But with delish paper like this, very little else is necessary right?! I'm SO excited to have this gorgeous plaid paper, the sweetest gift from a crafty pal. Those of you who know me well, will know all about my love affair with plaid and tartan! I even had tartan ribbon on my Wedding cake! This gorgeous paper pad is one of the latest paper pads released at Whimsy Stamps and I'm definitely going to be ordering a refill!

I've coloured this adorable image from Whimsy Stamps artist Crissy Armstrong with my copic markers. My sweet niece was nicknamed Turtle by her folks, so this cute card will be destined for her! I didn't add light around the coloured bulbs, because, clearly this wee turtle is trying to find a power socket! I thought the sentiment was a fun one to combine with this cute image though. It's from an older red rubber set by SC Designs for Whimsy Stamps called Christmas Moments.

I'll be back very soon with my next creation. I so meant to find a moment this week to post, but honestly, did someone hit the fast forward button?! Time just disappeared this week! Hugs to you all and hopes and wishes that you have enough hours in your day for all you need to achieve. I'll be back very soon with another crafty adventure. Hugs until then xoxo

Your turtle image is so sweet Wends and coloured beautifully, love the plaid paper too. Glad everything went well with your Mum’s move, have a lovely weekend.

What a gorgeous image Wends and I love how you have coloured him up - a beautiful card.
I know what you mean about being busy - I have sold my house and move next weekend - I am heartily sick of packing .... I have not made a card in weeks, and it may be weeks before I am organised enough to make one too :)
Stay safe
Blessings
