Whimsy Wednesday ~ I'm Here For You

Hey lovelies, we're halfway through another week and I'm trying to be better with blogging regularly, so here I am with another super cute Whimsy creation. I made this for one of my sweet teamies who has had a stinker time of late with her health and lots of pain. I sent it a while back, but forgot to blog it at the time, so thought I'd sneak in here and share it, a little late but better late than never right?!

The pic above is how it looked when I sent it, as I decided last minute to use a sweet frame die to finish the design. It cuts those wee hearts in each corner and the stitching. I really love how it came out, but of course, took most of my pics before doing this! So a majority of the images below are before I did this. I just wanted a little something 'extra' to finish the design. I not good at doing true CAS, so it was hard to just leave it as was, but honestly, the more I look at the before, the more I realise, it was fine just as it was!

The background was an inky experiment for me. I am NOT in inky crafter. I LOVE pretty paper and love to work with that as my base, but on this occasion I decided I'd try my hand at creating a little scene for these cuties. Some green, a hint to hills or land and some sky. Not my forte at all, but I was so pleased with this when I'd finished!

The message on this card was the super important thing. I wanted my sweet friend to know she's thought of and though she's struggling lots with pain, she's not alone and I hold her in my heart and thoughts.

I think these bunnies are the sweetest, I had to have ALL the sets when they came out. I need to create more with them as I just LOVE these cuties! This lil' one up in the sky, just melts me. I'll show you both sets in the thumbnails below.

I stamped the sweet bunnies on the base before inking it, but just to give me the 'position' to add my fussy cut layers on. Worked well for the wee one up in the sky, as I didn't fussy cut the balloon string, just the bunny and the balloon, which came up well this way.

I added plenty of Wink of Stella to the balloon for a bit of interest and sparkle on this otherwise very CAS card. So unlike me, to go so CAS, but I really love how it looked when it was all done. A sweet card to lift someone's spirits when they're a little low and I hope that's just what it did for my lovely pal.

Thanks for popping in to visit today, it means so much when I know you have! Thank you for leaving comments and saying hi, I love to come visit you in return when I'm able. Not easy with busy mama days, which is why I'll often leave you five at once when I get a chance! Hehe. I'll be back with another crafty adventure soon. Big hugs until then xoxo
