Whimsy Stamps ~ Christmas Cuties

Hey crafty pals, I prepared this fun creation earlier today and really want to share it with you! I adore these cute Tomten, they are some of the first that came out in this distinctive Swedish gnome style. Which if you know me, you'll know, I absolutely adore! Krista Heij-Barber captured the essence of these cuties perfectly in her designs, right down to the slightly 'derpy' look of the second one on my card. He just makes me smile SO much.

I created a fun slimline card with the gorgeous Enchanted Forest Slimline Paper Pack from Whimsy Stamps. I cut the paper with a cute slimline die also from Whimsy Stamps called Slimline Wobbly Windows die. I thought it would add a fun bit of dimension and interest to this design and I'm so happy with it. I think it looks fab with the added dimension and stitched details!

I love the accessories that come in this set, you can add bowties, hands, faces, to create very personalised and unique gnomes! Such a cool set and the wee mushrooms in this set are also adorable!

This cutie reminds me so much of 'Tow Mater' from the Cars movie. My little boy really enjoyed that movie when he was little and there's something so charming about this wee character that so reminds me of that tow truck character!

I chose the sentiment I've used to send some love to a friend abroad from a fabulous Simple Sentiments set by Whimsy Stamps. I think the little bridge in this scene is a fun visual representation of the 'across the pond' sentiment often used for overseas friends. I love how this simple but cute card quickly came together, by combining a few fun Whimsy elements. I'm thinking I'll send it as a Christmas card, but to be honest, this design would work any time of the year!

Thanks so much for stopping in to visit. Be sure to say hi, so I know you've been and can return the favour! Wishing you a wonderful day. I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure. Hugs and happy crafting xoxo

Wends this is super sweet - love the way you have used the paper and the die cuts - those wonky windows certainly add to the card. The wee tomten are gorgeous.
