Whimsy Stamps ~ Lazy Afternoon Brolly Ride

Hey lovely pals, I'm back with the last couple of creations from the month and I'm racing the deadline, because it's soon time to be sharing our October release with you! I know I've shared more cards with you in September than I usually do, but yep, there's still more! Two more in fact, so I'll share them back to back. This creation I've used the sweetest stamp set from Whimsy's Deb Davis Collection of Clear Stamps. I think these bunnies are the sweetest and you may recall I shared another creation made with this same stamp set earlier this month. This is the other image from that same set by Whimsy Stamps designer Deb Davis.

I've kept this make pretty simple, with a diecut frame that I could pop up with foam around the edge to look like it was a framed image. I love this die set, I use it a lot actually and there's a great rectangular version too, but this square one is my favourite. I diecut the kisses and hugs from the Big Hugs die set directly in the image panel, which then shows through to the kraft base. I toyed with adding some kraft elsewhere to balance this, but you see peeks of it around the frame edge and I actually just love the simplicity of this creation, so left it as is.

This card was another adventure in watercolouring for me. I've used Distress Ink Markers to colour this and the lighter blue sky dried back much more than I expected, it's barely there, but enough I think to get the idea of it being a clear blue day. I think them floating along in this brolly is beyond adorable and makes me think of the Punting at Cambridge for some reason!

I'll be back in a few minutes with my last creation for this month and I have to confess, it's a little bit different for me, but I rather love how it came together, so I hope you'll pop back to see that too. Big hugs and happy crafting xoxo
