Lili of the Valley ~ Halloween 2025 Release
Hey crafty peeps, I am back with a fun make using one of the images from the Halloween 2025 Release from Lili of the Valley. I'm behind sharing, they have a new release since this one, which is the most darling Autumn Girl images. I'll share a thumbnail at the end of this post. Life has been really full, but I so want to show this Halloween cutie all made up and on a card now, before I move to the Autumn images.
If you saw my previous post featuring this cute set, or watched my video of the first make with them, you'll have seen this cutie coloured up. I decided to pair this image with an older, sadly now retired paper pack from Whimsy Stamps, which fit this cutie so well! I was able to create a really fun scene with this older paper. I added a moon in the top right corner, which I just cut from white paper, ink blended with what was left on my yellow blending brush, which will have been a mix of Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade. I added some diecut bats over and beside the moon to bring the bats in the background paper more into the forground and ground the moon into the scene.
I added a wolf baying at the moon, I added some Clear Glitter Marker to the front of the wolf, to suggest the moon shining on him. It's such a simple touch, but I think really adds something to this scene.
I used two different red Mica Spray Stains and a Mica Spritz to create the cool shimmery Scary word for this card. I just lay down some kitchen towel and the diecut word and sprayed liberally with a mix of the three sprays. I used Yuletide and Peppermint Stick Distress Mica Spray Stain and then added a little Lumberjack Plaid Distress Spritz at the end. I let it dry well and then adhered it down to the base paper with a black shadow layer cut from Spellbinders Brushed Black Cardstock.
This sweet image is way too cute to spook, my favourite kind of Halloween imagery! I think he looks far too Angelic to be wearing a Devil costume! I coloured him up with my Copic Markers and those reds, chef's kiss! I love how they came out. I'm trying to find the note I wrote with the red colours, I'll come back with those details. The greys were all a mix of cool grey Copic Markers. I used a lovely Old Paper Square Die from Swedish brand Gummiapan to get that fun notched jagged edge. I will link everything I can for easy reference in the thumbnails below.
Lili of the Valley has a new release out right now, full of gorgeous Autumn images, be sure to check that out over in their Lili of the Valley Etsy Store. I hope to be back with something from that release very soon. I will be back with another crafty adventure before long, until then, have a beautiful day friends. Hugs, Wends xoxo
