Fab 'n' Funky ~ Inspired By A Song
Hey there my lovely blog buddies. I'm here today to share my DT post for Fab 'n' Funky with our fabulous theme 'Inspired by a Song'. Only I can't, because my printer has utterly packed a sad and I can't print a single thing without big black streaky lines all over it, which just won't do! But never one to give up, I thought I'd share an older Kenny K creation (our fabby sponsor for this challenge) that I created previously, and yes, I posted it previously too, so don't follow suit! But in light of my little printer melt down, I thought you might forgive me for resharing this previously blogged card. I made it for my lil' rock chick girlie. It's quite an appropriate 'reshare' too, as she's just had her birthday and guess what she got this year?! Her very own, candy pink, Fender Squier Stratocaster guitar!! I'll share pics at the end. To say she was pleased, is like 'understatement of the year' kinda stuff!! Hehe.
You can find my original post for this Kenny K creation here, with all the detes about the card. The image is Rock Chick from Kenny K, which I just love and must colour up again soon. I hope you'll come join in the fun with us this week at Fab 'n' Funky for our 'Inspired by a Song' or 'Musical Theme' challenge. I'm sure you'll agree, this lil' 'Flashback' post is pretty perfect for this challenge. One of Georgie's favourite songs that this card was originally inspired by is Queen's 'We Will Rock You'. It's a fav' when we pull out Sing Star or Rock Band. So fits this challenge's theme well.
Come and check out what my awesomely talented teamies (who are not having printer malfunctions!) got up to this week. You're gonna love their cards! Stop in first with our lovely hostess Chris to check out the gorgeousness she created for this challenge. You can find the other girls posts on the challenge blog. Don't be shy to stop in on the DT, we love a visit from you, as much as you enjoy a visit from us! Have an awesome week my lovely crafty pals. See you again soon, for my next crafty adventure (printer willing!) Hugs, Wends xoxo
Now for those of you who made it all the way to the end of this post and want to see my birthday girlie's fav' present, here's her (nicely vintaged) pink guitar. Smiles all round that day!
The 'Vintaged' (yes, that just means pre-loved and roughed up a bit)
Pink Fender Squier Stratocaster
Here's the happy birthday girlie with another of her 'pink' pressies.
She just loves this colour and it wasn't always so. Everything is currently pink, bless.
