Sweet Stampin' ~ Attitude of Gratitude.

Hello again, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this week we have the lovely theme of 'Thank You' cards. I try to encourage my kiddos to live with an 'attitude of gratitude'. I think Christmas thank you cards are an important part of this! I worry this is a bit of a dying art. So we're hoping folks will join in and show us it's still 'a thing'! It doesn't have to be a thank you card for Christmas gifts, any card expressing gratitude will do! Mine is to a lovely crafty friend, who some time ago, sent me the most incredible parcel of goodies. This beautiful Simon Says Stamps large floral spray was one of the stamp sets in this amazing gift basket. The set is called Sketched Flowers and I've used only a portion of this beautiful stamp on this card.

The full stamp is very large and my card isn't little. It's a 6x6 square card, so you can see it really is a fabulously large floral stamp. I love the ranunculus in this set, they are just so pretty. It was a complete joy to colour up and I had fun adding subtle details of sparkle to the design. You can see better in the pic above some of the metallic sparkle details in the flower centres.

The 'thank you' sentiment is a glossy sticker that came from a set I picked up at a local craft store here in New Zealand. I can't recall the brand. I'll have to have a hunt through my stash to find that. I really love how this card came together, it's very CAS but I think so pretty thanks to that amazing stamp set. I've made another already, so I'll share that soon to show another portion of that large floral stamp used.

It's the end of my weekend, so that's all from me today. I'll catch you all again soon. Be sure to stop into the Sweet Stampin' blog to see what my crazy talented teamies got up to with this theme and join us if you can, with your take on this theme. Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Wends xoxo

I agree with you Wends that it's important to teach our children (and grandchildren!) to show gratitude, and I don't know anyone who would not be pleased to receive a thank you card rather than a text message! I'm happy to say that both my daughter and DIL share this opinion and my granddaughters always send thankyou cards for their birthday and christmas gifts.
I love the CAS design of your gorgeous card, the stamp is beautiful and of course coloured perfectly.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Beautiful card.
What a gorgeous card Wends - that stamp is amazing, and your colouring of it is exquisite. Looking forward to seeing what else you create with it.
The next generation of my family are (thankfully) always told to say thanks for anything such as a gift - as they live locally, letters are a bit superfluous... mine were taught to write thank you letters, and one of their grandparents kept the letters, and my daughter has one of those that she kept!
