Blog Update
I have been busy this week with poorly kiddies and also sorting out my 'stash' from my visit last weekend to the Alexandra Palace Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show, which by the way, was wonderful. I managed to pick up some fab basics and a few lovely new stamps at great prices. So thought it might be fun to share a couple of pics from my shopping spree. I saw Janneke do this after a similar craft fair spree and loved the idea. Thanks Janneke!
Some staple stash pieces from the fab folks at Mei Flower. I love the little tartan ribbon bows. I can't wait to try those out on a card. The pearls and gems are fab to have too as I'm just starting to use more of those in my designs and these packs came in really lovely mixed colour options. So great for beginners like me.
Sticky Foam Pads, Ranger Ink Blender Tool and Spare Pads are from 'Pages of Memories'. The lovely Niki showed me how to do some 'aged and grunge finishes' while I was at the show. The cool luggage tag you see there is what she made me while I watched. I can't wait to give it a go! I bought some Stickles and Acrylic Paint to give those a go and some great loose sentiment stamps from 'Little Claire Designs'. In the background you can just make out the prettiest Guipure lace which I love to bits. It's from 'Anna-Marie Designs'. Anna-Marie was soooo lovely and also gave me a great price on some First Edition papers which appear in a later photo.
A fun mix of unmounted grey rubber sentiment stamps, a lovely Sarah Kay clear stamp, some more Stickles, a lovely holographic loose glitter by Jones Tones, a new 'walnut' distress ink, pokey tool (until now missing from my stash!), little butterfly punch and sticky foam rolls. I just love these sweet Nellie Snellen stamps. I love the dreamy fairies from Marina Fedotova, they're so perfect for little girls cards.
Final pic of my shopping spree at show. The gorgeous First Edition papers were from Anna-Marie Designs and the lovely rubber and clear stamp sets are from my favourite stamp supplier 'Lili of the Valley'. I can't get enough of their lovely stamps as evidenced by this rather indulgent spree! I hope to get them all inked up in this next month, so watch for these. :)

I'll keep adding older cards and update the links on the homepage as I do, so you can have a quick look back through without having to hunt the whole blog. Thanks for visiting today and I hope you like what you see, if you do, leave a comment and let me know. :) x
