You're the Best!

I have a quick post today, with a very sweet card my 8 year old daughter made for her Godmamma - my sister. We've been having so much fun together lately colouring up mama's ever growing selection of digi's!!! She picked this one to make up for my sis in celebration of her birthday. If you read my 'Picture Perfect Day' post, you'll note that my sis is quite an amazing photographer and this image I had chosen to use for her 'one of these days', but my Georgie rather insisted, that it was 'today' and she'd be the one to colour it and make it into a card. Go my girl! Well her creative mojo was flowing and she did an awesome job on the colouring! Right down to the darker accents on the clothes, hair, skin as needed, she's quite a lil' powerhouse, I'm gonna have to up my game! She does love being let loose with Mama's Promarkers! Anyway, enough waffle, here's her card for your viewing pleasure...

The image is from 'Alicia's Little Shop' and is called 'Alicia - Photographer'. Love the stamps from that range, really fun and I am colouring up another one right now, which I'll post soon. The papers are Dovecraft Sugar and Spice. I so love this particular page, so perfect a match for the colours Georgie had chosen for the image and worked so well for what she was trying to convey to her Godmamma. I added a touch of Glossy Accents to the eyes and some Memento Rich Cocoa to the paper edge, but otherwise, it was all my girly!
