You should have arrived at my blog from Sarah Nancarrow's blog. Don't you just love what she did with that sketch? Utterly inspiring. Your next stop on the 'Hop' will be Brenda Morgan who regularly dazzles us with her stunning layouts on the Southern Girls Challenge blog, so you're in for a treat! But first a peak at my crafty adventure with the fabulous sketch Kat Benjamin created for our hop. I've never blogged a layout before, so it was fabulous to have Kat's wonderful sketch to follow.

Jody kindly provided us with some really amazing stash from her wonderful store for this challenge. I highly recommend you go and have a look at her fab Etsy shop. She has such gorgeous embellishments for both scrapbooking and cardmaking. Needless to say, I had great fun shopping in preparation for this hop, as you know despite the massively generous bundle Jody sent us, there was SO much more I wanted!! Just look at my gorgeous DT parcel, eeep!

To create my layout, I've used papers from the Kaisercraft Homemade Collection - Cosy Cottage, Friendly Family & Warm Welcome plus a tiny hearts vellum overlay. I used a lovely sentiment to take the place of my fourth photo in the sketch from one of the Kaisercraft pages, as I loved how the words from this tied together my layout. The tag I have tucked up the top behind the pretty doily contains my journalling about this sweet day with my family in Queen's Wood in London. I've backed a luggage tag with one of the Kaisercraft papers and added a bit of seam binding to finish it. The luggage tag, doily, woodchip sentiments, cork hearts and sweet little sequins are all available from Jody's wonderful Etsy Store - SpiegelMom Scraps.
