The Paper Door ~ Mermaid Dreams

Hey there my lovely crafty pals, I'm swinging in again today with my third Paper Door creation with this enchanting kit. I just love this dreaming mermaid, she is so sweet! So I had to create a sweet scene with her. There's another equally gorgeous mermaid that I hope to create with before the kit sells out! But it's a race against time, because this kit is selling REALLY fast! 

I've used the Whimsy Stamps Peekaboo Die 3 to create this sweet scene. I really wanted to use an aperture design, so I could combine some of the coordinating papers, and this die makes it SO easy! But of course, you could replicate this with standard circle and rectangle dies too if you're patient! I just love how quick and easy this die makes this though. I've coloured this cutie with my Copic Markers and her wee fish friends too. The BG Copics are such a great match for these papers, so I used BG09, BG07, BG05 and BG01 to colour this cutie. I used pink shades on her skin, R02, R01, R00 and R000 to blend.

Apart from the Peekaboo Die 3, all the other elements I've used are from this gorgeous Paper Door Kit. As You Like It: Favourite Stamp Brand & Why ~ well, there are loads of stamp brands I love, but my favourite and the one I design with the most is definitely Whimsy Stamps.
