Christmas at Sweet Stampin' ~ Critters

Hey crafty pals, can you believe we're almost half way through December already?! This month is whizzing by and this year sure has!! I can't believe we're here already!! It's our last challenge of the year at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' and we will be closing out the year with an adorable challenge theme. We have a 'Critters' challenge this month.

How cute is this Penny Black image?! I love these sweet creatures! I'm not much of a colour on kraft girlie, I don't know how to work with pencils! But I did give a go to using a bit of alcohol ink on the kraft for a bit of soft colour and then some white gel pen, which really pops! I love how this came out actually and though the ink work is a very soft finish, I really liked the juxtaposition between the soft background ink work and the pop of red and white from the stocking, so I didn't try to intensify the colours on the wee mouse. A very CAS card for me and not much else to say about it, it's all pretty self explanatory.

Come and join our last Christmas challenge of 2019, we're in the month that matters! We will of course be doing it all again next year, but as I've still oodles of cards to post, I'm crafting my lil' fingers to the bone. Check out what my awesome teamies did too for this challenge, so many lovely creations, all sure to inspire! It's the last post for two of my lovely teamies which I'm crying in my coffee over. We say a bittersweet farewell to Susan who has co-run this challenge for far too long to mention and our lovely Tracey too!
