Whimsy Stamps ~ December Showcase
Hey crafty friends, we've had a HUGE November over at Whimsy with a massive number of digital releases and the DT are taking December off to catch their breaths, but not before sharing our fabulous showcase using a mix of images from the November and December releases! Mine is a cutie Crissy Armstrong drew and like all of her images, it is utterly enchanting. This wee sweetie is called Sharing The Warmth.
I have two sweet baby nieces to create for now, so of course this had to have some pink! I used Copics to colour the image and don't peek too close, because this is a really tiny canvas and took some very careful detailed work to get it coloured. Needless to say, I had to don the spec's to finish this. This little canvas is 2.5 x 1.5 inches, so yep, it's tiny! But I really wanted to make a little tag to accompany a present with these cuties. Of course with a canvas so small very little else is needed to embellish the design, just a little offcut heart that was cut from the tag hole and another from the accompanying green glitter tag.

There it is atop the pressie, all ready to go! Petite but perfect no?! I love that acid green copic combo I've used on the hat. It's a combo my lovely crafty pal Janine used and I just utterly LOVED, so I've pulled it out a few times since she shared her combo with me. The green glitter cardstock wasn't a perfect match, but I thought looked quite nice as an added wee element to this make.
It's a busy December already and the weekends are filling up like crazy! I've just posted a rather special 'thank you' post on our Whimsy Inspiration Blog and we have some exciting collaboration going on during December, so do check out our Inspiration Blog at Whimsy, there are so many fabulous designers contributing you're sure to leave inspired! I'll be back again here with another crafty make very soon. In the meantime, I wish you a wonderful lead up to Christmas and Hanukkah. Be sure to check out that latest Whimsy release, you can click through on any of the thumbnails below. Hugs xoxo
