Sweet Stampin' ~ Happy Hogmanay!

Happy New Year crafty friends! I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a better year in 2022. We can live in hope right?! We're kicking off the New Year at Sweet Stampin' with optimism and would love to see your creations using anything 'New' from your Christmas gift stash or perhaps you could interpret the theme in your card, 'New' baby, house, job, adventures, etc. There's lots of scope for interpretation and we cannot wait to see what you create! 

My adorable wee nephew was born last year and this was the sweet card I created for his arrival. I actually hadn't shared it before now, so knew this was the perfect time to do so. I've blurred the details of his name and exact birth details which is why it looks blotchy on the card, sorry. The actual card has lovely scripty lettering and looks great!

This adorable image is from Lili of the Valley and I must confess, their images are my favourites for New Baby makes. They're just gorgeous! I used a fabulous Whimsy Stamps Slimline die to create the frame and used some of my 'stroke only' Maja Designs paper stash for this very special creation. I loved the words along the bottom of the paper, so I actually cut the border and added it over the base layer, to have the twinkle little star running across the bottom.
