Whimsy Stamps ~ I Feel Pretty

There are some stamps that just make me smile, they're so cute or quirky or both, I cannot help but grin and this stamp is one of those! I just adore the cute, joyful, confident pose of this Llama. I thought it was a sheep, but my hubby and bubby tell me it's a Llama, so two to one, they win, hehe.

This gorgeous image is currently in the retiring section of the Whimsy Stamps store at quite the steal, so if it makes you smile as much is it does me, grab it while you still can! I paired this cutie with some fabulous slimline paper from Whimsy, which just made such an easy and perfect scene! I diecut the paper to give the scene a 'frame', but love when the scene continues to the edge of a card. I think it feels like the scene goes on, which I love, rather like an infinity pool effect. You may have noticed I quite like to create this way and do this often.

I've struggled with rainy weather the last few days, not brilliant for taking good photos in, so the image looks a little washed out. Then the sun came out and cast a wonderful shadow as I was trying to take the shot, so I sketched around where the shadows were, which you can see in the Instagram version. I added the shadow, exactly as the sun cast it, clever trick right?! It does add a sense of dimension to that graceful jump I think! No light soon after to retake the main shot however, so you only really see this in the reel.
