Colour Crazy Challenge ~ Final Guest Design ~ Fancy Dress
Hey there lovely crafty pals. I am a little late sharing this creation as I've been down with the most horrendous bug this past week. I just want to cry. It's been the most awful Winter for bugs in our house. My little guy had a raging fever for 3 days and then bounced back like a trouper. But of course mummy got his bug, because I'd been cuddling and caring for him when he was poorly. So I was down for the count since Tuesday night with really high fevers. I've not bounced back like my lil' guy did, as mine seems to have come with an additional upset tummy since the fever broke. Haven't eaten in days and I'm feeling just a wee bit sorry for myself. Thankfully, my hubby has been an absolute trouper and been both mama and papa for the majority of this past week. I am just hoping with every fibre of my being that he doesn't succumb to this after me. It's horrid! Anyway, that's not meant to be a 'poor me' moan, but rather an explanation of my tardiness posting this creation. We started a new challenge at Colour Crazy Challenge on Friday and this is my final post as GDT for them. So I'm so sorry to be so late posting ladies and thank you ever so much for having me. Our sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments Designs and I was given a sweet image to work with.
I've coloured this lovely image Crafty Sentiments Fancy Dress in a colour combo I nostalgically remember my Mum dressing me and my sisters in when we were small. We had the cutest chocolate brown with baby pink accents dresses and looked so sweet in them. Wish I had a pic to share, but alas no. But I thought this image was perfect in these tones. I've used my Copic Markers to colour her and to colour the corner and the trim to match. Such a good trick when you don't have the right colour cardstock to work with.
Head on over to the Colour Crazy Challenge to check out what the rest of the wonderful team did for their creations. Thanks to Ruth and the team for having me. I really enjoyed it. I'll be back again as soon as I can sit at the PC for more than a few minutes. This bug is kicker! Hugs to you all, Wends xoxo

So sorry to hear you have not been well - you can keep the bugs north of the Bombay's though :)!! Do hope you recover quickly and that DH does not succumb!
