Pixel Scrapper ~ The Best Kept Crafty Secret!

Hey there crafty pals, I'm here today to chat with you about one of my 'best kept crafty secrets'! If you've followed me a while, you'll know I'm a huge fan of the talented paper designers at Pixel Scrapper. So imagine my delight when these lovely peeps asked if I'd share a little about my journey with them!

I've been using gorgeous Pixel Scrapper papers since I first discovered this awesome papercraft community back in 2015. I've always been kinda shy about sharing my creations. My DT work for Whimsy has certainly brought me out of my shell. But when you have found something you really love, it's easy to shout it from the rooftops and I do, when I've used one of their designs in my creations. I'll showcase a few for you here in this post. Marisa Lerin and her talented team of paper designers, share their gorgeous designs very generously for FREE! You can download up to 5 papers a day under this free account. Or if papercrafting is your thing and you love pretty papers like I do, then consider joining the unlimited downloads option for a small annual fee. This opens up a whole host of possibilities!

This was my first creation using Pixel Scrapper papers. I found these utterly gorgeous papers from designer Sharon Dewi Stolp and knew straight away I wanted to use them for a new baby boy card. So perfect for a 'Hello Little One' creation. The sweet image is of course Some Odd Girl and you can check out the rest of the details on the original post. You can just search for Pixel Scrapper on my website and all my creations using these lovely papers should come up.

I created this elegant gate-fold card using a fabulous All Dressed Up image back in 2015 and paired it with a perfect digital paper from Pixel Scrapper designer Elif Şahin. Those little white hearts on the black paper set up this design so perfectly!

Jump forward to 2016 and this was my small boys birthday card that year. I used a Whimsy Stamps clear stamp set designed by 2 Cute Ink for this spacefaring creation. The paper I used is from Pixel Scrapper designer Melo Vrijof and don't you think it just set the scene perfectly! This fun card is kinetic, with the rocket moving back and forth on a clear tab. So much fun for a small boy!

I created this cute card for my Swedish bestie in 2016 with a super cute Stamping Bella image and some fabulous 'pop of happy' brightly coloured paper by Pixel Scrapper designer Janet Kemp. Her Strawberry Fields plaid paper was a real treat to bring this creation together. I just LOVE this fabulous plaid paper.

Some fabulous Marisa Lerin paper set the scene in 2017 for my brother-in-law's graduation card. I think this was such a good fit and really loved how it all pulled together around this gorgeous paper.

Now this was a quirky and fun creation to make and the moustache paper by Sharon Dewi Stolp was really key to pulling this design together. A fun bookmark for a teenager don't you think? The image is from Oddball Arts.

I love plaid papers, I really do and the designer of this particular paper is one of my favourite plaid paper designers. Rachel Martin has so many gorgeous designs, not just plaids, but her plaids are definitely amongst my absolute favourites. I think the autumnal tones of this paper was so perfect for this creation with the Whimsy Stamps image Cinnamon with Pumpkin from their Rustic Sugar line.

Now the moment I saw this paper, I had to have it! One of my best friends is English, but of Bengali descent and I knew I'd want to create a card for her one day with this beautiful paper. The pattern just made me think of her and her heritage and I think Elif Şahin, drew on similar influences when she designed it. This card was created for this special pals sister, for her Mehndi Night celebration using a beautiful image by French artist Jade Dragonne.

It's clear to see I utterly adore this paper, as evidenced by my repeated use. I've used it for two Halloween creations, because I wanted a 'too cute to spook' feel and this paper totally delivered! Designed by Sheila Reid from Pixel Scrapper and it's a design I know I'll use again soon. So fun and bright and happy and so fabulous any time of year!

Another plaid design I simply couldn't resist from Pixel Scrapper designer Violet Irisovna. This paper is utterly my cup of tea! I wanted to use it for Christmas creations the minute I saw it. There's just something delish about a little bit of red plaid at Christmas. Green plaid too for that matter and blue, oh and hues of brown, yep, you get it, I'm a little obsessed with plaid! If you love plaid as much as I do, I highly recommend going and taking a look at the Pixel Scrapper site. Marisa and her talented team of designers are not just fabulous with my favourite style of paper, but with so many different styles and ranges. You'll seriously be spoilt for choice! I often just pop over to the site when I've a card to create and enter a search word to see what comes up. I've found some of my favourite papers this way and with so much choice available and their wonderfully generous terms of use, you really ought to pop by and check them out.

Now it's true, I was invited to write this post, but let me assure you, the reason I do, is because I LOVE Pixel Scrapper papers, their website ~ https://www.pixelscrapper.com and their crafty community. They have fabulous regular Blog Trains, which is a fantastic opportunity to build your stash thanks to their talented designers generosity. It's a wonderful way to try new styles and ideas and I seriously have some of the best digital paper stash now having used their papers for over 6 years. This last creation, I made again for my little boy Zac, and had such fun, combining the wonderful moon image from Whimsy Stamps with the cute space boy from Scrapper's Delight, but it was all set up to perfection, by the fabulous paper by Marisa Lerin and her fantastic and funny sentiment! Zac had a real giggle when I gave this to him, because, my wee gamer, totally got the joke! Head on over to have a look around Pixel Scrapper, I am sure you'll be as delighted with their papers, talent and wonderful community as much as I've been these past few years. Let me know if you give them a try, I'd love to hear what you think! Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
