Fab 'n' Funky ~ Christmas In The Heart
Hey there crafty pals. Christmas crafting just somehow puts Christmas in the heart don't you think?! I love it! I've got Christmas music playing and I've been have a good sign along! LOL. Hubby things I'm mad, but I love it! It is of course time for our monthly Christmas challenge at Fab 'n' Funky. You can make anything Christmas related, we love it all! So come and join the fun with us.
I had a hessian card base that I'd picked up from the craft department in a local store and I just love the rustic feel and finish this gives the card. It's glued over a normal white card base front and back, so it's all ready just to add embellishments. So I embossed a piece of white card using a crossstitched hearts embossing folder and cut this into a fishtail banner by hand. I used a smooth green cardstock which I rounded the corners on, white embossed the sentiment on and added the white diecut. I tied some candy cane stripe twine a couple of times around to finish et voila. Job done! A pretty quick but lovely Christmas card I think.
I hope you'll come and join us at Fab 'n' Funky for our Christmas challenge this week and show us what you've been preparing. I do so love spreading the prep' over the year. I do need to get much better organised at getting my cards out on time when the season rolls 'round though. I'm hopeless! Made a whole bunch of cards and still had some left over as I ran out of time to post! Not to self, send to overseas in November!! LOL. Hugs to you all and happy Christmas crafting, Wends xoxo
