The Paper Door Is Ready To Close...

Hey there friends, I'm back today with my scheduled post for the Paper Door, I snuck an extra one in yesterday but I still want to share this fun creation I made with you today. I coloured up this cute image in some fun 'petrol' blues and when I went to make up the card, realised this wasn't a colour in the kits papers. So I paired it with a card base I had in my stash that was just the right shade. I even found some ink that matched to do the sentiment. This was all rather a big fluke and not at all planned, but I was so rather happy with how this came together. 

I've used a fabulous cloud die set to create the background for this card. They come in several sizes, so it's easy to find just the right size clouds for any make. Pigs fly right?! So of course he can stand on the clouds. 

I've used Wink of Stella to 'silver line' the clouds and to create the raindrops. The raindrops and splash are from the fab' stencil in the set. I used a silver Gelly Roll pen to make the stencil outline then coloured in the gaps with the Wink of Stella. It's so shiny and sparkly in the right light.
