Whimsy Stamps ~ Toadally Looking Like Christmas...
Hey crafty friends, oh my goodness, Whimsy has just had their second mini release on the 10th and it's toadally looking like Christmas! There are some fun and quirky stamp sets in this release and these Christmas Toads by Dustin Pike just crack me up! Too cute. I think my youngest nephew will get a kick out of this Christmas tag, so it's destined for his Christmas parcel. The action wobble just puts it over the top! He'll be pinging that thing all Christmas day I'm sure!
I went all green on this cute creation, but you know it's my favourite colour right?! I toadally had the best time creating this cute tag and my littlest nephew who it'll be for, I know is going to have the best fun on Christmas day with this boingy action wobble feature! I didn't add a sentiment, as I'd not left enough room to stamp it cleanly under the image and a popped up one would likely get knocked off trying to make the action wobble work. But I feel like the image speaks volumes and if I'd added a sentiment, it would likely have said, Joy To You This Christmas. Which that cute image says in volume!
I popped up this cutie on an action wobble, because I knew it would bring such joy to my littlest nephew. I cannot wait to give this to him! I have a little reel showing the action of this over on my IG page. I hope you can see it because it really brings the fun alive!
I created the background for this tag with Alcohol Inks and used some newer to me Brea Reese inks. One in a pearl version which gave a lovely shimmer to the panel. I added a little Silver Mixative too for a touch of silvery shine here and there. I don't do a lot of Alcohol Ink creations, so I was channelling my inner Nancy May and having a play, seeing where the adventure led me! She's so inspiring in that regard, if you've not watched her create, I encourage you to check out her channel and her tutorials for the Whimsy Channel too. I had no idea what I was going to do with this inky panel until this wee froggy came along! So that was a win! I used the fabulous Mini Slimline Tags Die Set to cut the tag shapes. I did trim a little off the bottom of the bigger tag, as I didn't want quite as much extra along the bottom. I could have added a sentiment there if I'd thought that through a little longer! But I do like it just as it is.
Thanks for popping in to visit today, I hope you enjoyed this cute Christmas tag I created and I'll be back before long with another creation. I'm still having so much fun with my Halloween stash, so yes, there'll be more Halloween before October ends, I know it's not everyones cup of tea, and I thank you for sticking with me if it's not your thing. Normal programming will resume in November! But until then, I'm going to be in my pink glittery bat cave, hehe. Hugs, Wends xoxo

I receive a small commission, which costs you no extra whatsoever, but helps these companies see where their marketing efforts are most effective and is a way they can say 'thank you' to and support their hard working affiliates and design team members. I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.
