Whimsy Stamps ~ October 31st

Hey crafty friends, I'm back with an incredibly simple and yet I think gorgeous crafty make today. I've used one of the stunning Quick Card Fronts from the Grunge Ghosts set. You may have seen the first creation I made with this set, the Twist and Pop card. I just absolutely love this set of Quick Card Fronts, they have some truly enchanting imagery and this particular panel is a favourite.

I've done a reel on Instagram to show the gold details better. The light doesn't always catch the gold details well. It is so lovely up close the golden edge and the sentiment. It looks very elegant and really lets the Autumnal beauty shine.

I felt like so little extra was needed on this panel, because it's just so gorgeous, there's extra grungy details already in the ink work on this panel, so I just stamped the October 31st sentiment from the Stamp Set of the same name and heat set it.

Then I ran along the panel edges with my Distress Embossing Dabber which is so awesome for these kinds of techniques, I sprinkled the edges with the same gold embossing powder, which was a Simon Says Stamp Detail Gold Embossing Powder. I heat set all the sides and that was my card done! I just folded half a Neenah Desert Storm Panel to create a side folding card base and glued the image panel to that and I really was done. Boom, a quick but elegant Autumn/Halloween Card. It's definitely one of my favourites from this month.

We've just had our last Halloween focused release for 2024 at Whimsy Stamps and it's another fantastic release! I can't wait to get my hands on those hanging bats, how cool are they?! So many of the DT have created the most amazing designs with those grumpy dragons too, so incredibly fun! You may spot my poem up in the top left, this is still available as a free gift with orders over $50, so have that in mind when ordering. You must add it to your cart, but it will be automatically free once your order tips over $50. I am SO delighted to have had this poem made into a Halloween sentiment stamp, so let me know if you get it and if you use it in any of your makes!

Thank you friends for popping in to check out my latest crafty adventure today. I will be back again very soon in the meantime, have an awesome week. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo

I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
