Spellbinders ~ Norwegian Rosemaling Embossing Folder
Hey crafty friends, I have an elegant creation to share with you today. I had a wee parcel of goodies arrive with some very gorgeous elements from Spellbinders latest and recent releases. A big thank you to Yana, for inviting me to design again. It's been a wee while since I did. I could not resist working first with this beautiful embossing folder. This is the Norwegian Rosemaling Embossing Folder which is part of Susan Tierney Cockburn's Winter's Grace Garden Collection. This folder is just SO beautiful.
The texture and dimension of this embossing folder is divine and I really didn't want to cover any of it, so I went for an elegant but minimalist design. The embossing folder is a large one, measuring 5.50 x 8.50 inches. I cut the panel quite close to make a 5x7 card. I paired the beautiful embossed panel with the lovely Peace Word Die and accompanying To You and Yours Die from the Peace Dove Die set by Stampendous for Spellbinders, also part of this new release. I cut several layers of the Peace die from white cardstock and then layered the gold cardstock over to finish. The sub-sentiment I cut just once from gold cardstock. I kept this design very simple to allow the embossing folder to really feature.
I misted the panel before embossing it, with water that had some perfect pearls dissolved in it. It has given this panel such a pretty sparkle all over. So there is a beautiful gentle shimmer as it's shifted in the light. I have shared this in a reel over on my Instagram Account.
I'm excited to share some more creations with a few more elements from this latest release with you soon. I'll be sharing a make with the rest of the Peace Dove Die Set from the Stampendous release next. Until then, be sure to pop over to the Spellbinders Store to check out their full release or if you're up for a little sale shopping, check out their fabulous Stamping Sale below. Hugs and happy crafting, Wends xoxo
(I share thumbnails to the elements I design with in order to make your search for them easier, in case you like something I've used. I do use affiliate links where possible, which gives me a tiny commission but costs you no extra whatsoever. It helps the companies I design for to improve their marketing practice and track my contributions. I am deeply grateful if you use them for these reasons. I am proud to design for the companies I do and always feel happy to share where my inspiration and where my crafty stash comes from. I am occasionally gifted products to use, but I only design for companies whose products I absolutely love and buy for myself. My opinions are always my own.)
