Southern Girls ~ Frame It

Hey there friends. I am stopping in tonight to share my very late Southern Girls Inspiration post with you. We were given a real treat recently by our wonderful sponsor Dark Room Door for this challenge of actual red rubber stamps! They were such a joy to work with! Stamped perfectly first time! I have had such fun creating with this fantastic sentiment. I loved it the minute I saw it, just my kind of humour. We Kiwi girls from the team had the opportunity to create with these stamps and there are some really fun sentiments! A real treat.

It's just been my birthday and I have a birthday twin in our Southern Girls DT. Our lovely blog mama Lou Lou shares my birthday. So when I saw this stamp, I couldn't resist making her a card with it. We've spent some lovely days together, one of them on her farm, which the kids still talk about! So I found a really fun paper pad that I had with some great farm themed papers and got to work. I'll come back to you with the name of the paper set, as I just can't recall right now.

Lou and I have both had some pretty crazy weeks of late, so I think she'll appreciate the humour of this. It's so tongue in cheek, but I know I'd rather be in wellies and overalls on the farm, so hopefully she'll forgive me that cheekiness! Everyone knows farmers aren't 'normal' right?! They're 'out-standing' in their field! (I come from a family of farmers! Hehe)

(Please excuse hubby's electronics gear in the background, two creatives in this house!)

Lou and I had such a laugh at Christmas when she stopped in on her way North. Here's a photo my hubby took of us being silly, trying to take selfies, what a bunch of 'naanas! But we had such fun!

I hope you'll come and check out our fun challenge at Southern Girls. Most weeks, we have two wonderful sponsors and this week, we have Dark Room Door who provided us these fabulous stamps and Altenew, which I also made a card with, but decided my card wasn't 'framed' enough for our theme, so I'll share that another day. They're both fabulous sponsors so the winner's are in for a super treat! Our theme 'Frame It', leaves lots of scope for creativity! You just need to add a frame or add a mat that frames your focal point and you're good to go. We'd love you to play along with us! I'll be back again soon with another crafty adventure. Until then, have a wonderful weekend and happy crafting! Hugs, Wends xoxo

It's a wodnerful card!
Yup, that sentiment is perfect for me at the moment - normal is hard when depression lurks! But I will overcome!! Love the card Wends, and I would never have thought you were from a farming background - how little really share on our blogs!
Blessings
