Whimsy Wednesday ~ Beau & Bashful

Hey there my lovely crafty pals, I'm here with my weekly Whimsy Wednesday post today and boy do I have a cutie to share with you this week! We are so spoilt for choice with the images in the Whimsy Digital Vault, that I don't always get to create with all the images we're promoting in one month, so this cutie is actually from last months promotion, but I was so keen to get it coloured up. I actually have no one in mind for this creation, which is unusual for me as I usually craft with someone specifically in mind. But this one was just for fun and just for me to have a play at colouring these cuties. 

This adorable pair called Beau & Bashful are of course from the Wee Stamps Collection at Whimsy Stamps. This whole collection which was once exclusively in Rubber at Whimsy Stamps has now come to the Digital Vault at Whimsy and I have to say, between this collection and the Crissy Armstrong Collection, I'm in crafting heaven!

I've coloured these cuties with my Copic Markers. I know the Unicorns are usually white, but I loved the idea of inking this one in black. It's come out rather more grey than black, but I didn't want to obscure all the lovely details under heavy black. Clearly I need some lessons on colouring with black! But I still love how it came out. The wee mare I did in white, with just a lil' shading where needed. I love this sweet pair so much! The shot above captures the sparkle from the Wink of Stella on his horn, which doesn't show well in the other pics.
